Seve Will Be Missed In And Out Of Golf

by Dave Bisbee on May 7, 2011

ballesteros24This will be a short post just to acknowledge the passing of one of the golf worlds brightest lights. In a time where the Tour is looking for personalities who play the game with great imagination and flair while also demonstrating a real connection to the galleries Seve Ballesteros would be the role model for young aspiring professionals.

Who doesn’t remember his reaction after sinking the final putt for his Open Championship at St. Andrews? Fists in the air as he turned and seemed to share his triumph with all of the fans encircling the 18th green.

A true entertainer on the course and a gentleman off the course. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
